My Name is Shelly Stillman. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) in 2006 and a Masters in Professional Counseling (MA) in 2016. I have been Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2018. I have a lot of experience working with families, adults, children and adolescents. I worked as a social worker for 12 years working with families who are in a crisis. I have experience working with individuals who have experienced a traumatic event in their lives using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma informed counseling. I am very experienced working with Child Welfare and families and parents and children who are in foster care. I work with families toward reunification and accomplishing goals needed for families to be reunified. I have experience working with young adults who are transitioning into adulthood and struggling with anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, and other mental health issues as well as life issues helping them being successful into adulthood using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have experience working with parents using Parent Management Training (PMT) methods established by Dr. Kazdin for parents who are dealing with behavioral issues.
