I am Sharon Gooden-Williams, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 1998 from Valdosta State University and a Master of Arts in Social Work from Valdosta State University in 2002. I have a passion for treating psychological, emotional, and relationship challenges through the development of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and recognition of the healing power we each inherently hold inside of us. I have 23 years of experience working with diverse populations to include children, adolescents, adults, families, and geriatric populations. My experience includes working as a Clinical Therapist at Behavioral Health Clinic, Bereavement Coordinator for Hospice, Crisis Clinician for the Georgia Crisis and Access Line, Clinical Supervisor for graduate students, Lead Social Worker for the School System. I typically work evenings and weekends to accommodate clients that have a tedious weekday schedule.
