As a therapist, I want to meet each client where they are and walk with them as they move towards healing and growth. We all have a desire to learn and grow, but often our life experiences and our interpretations of these experience can halt us. I believe that being intentional and consistent facilitates a more meaningful and authentic life. My clinical style is built on mutual trust - I focus on building connections through empathy, warmth, humor, and honesty. Sessions with me are meant to be a collaborative space. My clinical practice approach is built on concepts and techniques derived from relational, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and strengths-based therapy frameworks. I’d love to help you identify and build upon strengths you already have so you can feel more like your true self. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Alcohol and other Drug Counselor (CADC). I have over 20 years of experience working in a variety of settings. I have provided therapy and case management services at a community mental health center. I worked for ten years on an adult inpatient psychiatric unit provided social work services, including individual, family, and group sessions and discharge planning. I have worked as an Employee Assistance Program Counselor and have a background in leadership/management.
