Hello, my name is Shannon Francom, LMFT. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based out of Texas, with nearly a decade of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, with a variety of presenting concerns, such as: depression and anxiety, trauma, marriage/family/relationship issues, boundaries, parenting problems, addiction, and many more.

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, experiences some sort of hardship, trauma, conflict, or setback at one time or another in their life. Sometimes we seem to handle these distressing situations, events, and problems with our relationships with ease, and sometimes we seem a little lost, misunderstood, or like we can't quite keep our head above water. The good news is that change and recovery is possible, and I can help! :)

I approach our therapeutic relationship with understanding, compassion, "realness," and validation. I enjoy incorporating humor into my sessions, meeting clients where they're at in their journey, and pushing them when they are ready to move forward. My approach combines emotion-focused and attachment-based therapy models, as well as structural, solution-focused, and narrative strategies, depending on the needs of each specific client.

Reaching out for support is the first step in healing, yet can also be one of the hardest. This process can feel overwhelming and difficult at times. I am happy to start this journey with you, and I look forward to speaking with you soon.
