Shannon Hannigan-Jackson is a Licensed Clinical Professional who has been in the mental health field since 2008 in a variety of settings. Shannon found herself drawn to community, local, and regional mental health centers. As well as outpatient, private practice, institutions, day centers, and programs in both non-profit and profit agencies. She received her master's degree in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University in 2009.

Shannon believes that helping clients develop self-awareness and coping skills to manage problems as they arise . She utilizes mindfulness and acceptance strategies, and other DBT techniques. She also uses cognitive behavioral skills to assist clients in making positive choices and changes to help clients live their best and most authentic life. She believes that with skills and support, it will help the client create a more stabilized foundation, which will allow problems to become more manageable to the client.
