I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 22 years of experience working with adults in both inpatient and outpatient medical and community settings. I believe that you will find my therapeutic interactions to be genuine, authentic, and non-judgmental. My purpose is to enable individuals to achieve and to even surpass their personal goals and objectives. The overarching theme or intent of our therapeutic work together is to improve one’s quality of life. Numerous academic studies on psychotherapy point to the fact that the actual therapeutic relationship is the “change agent” of psychotherapy. The therapeutic relationship, more so than any specific intervention or technique employed, has been proven to be the single most important differential in determining change.
