About

I have been engaged in counseling since 1997, licensed since 2006. I feel very privileged to do the work that I do and I bring that sense of enthusiasm and warmth to my relationships with clients. My foremost aim is to ensure that my clients feel understood and safe, but also confident that they are in good hands when it comes to getting support and guidance for reaching their goals. How we do in relationships and how this affects all aspects of our lives is my primary focus. The interplay between trauma, depression and anxiety and our relationship with our self and others is paramount. I’m interested in helping my clients come to terms with their primary relationships and in building vibrant relationships in the present. I utilize Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy in much of my work because I’ve found these approaches to get to the heart of what people are looking for in terms of health, growth and well-being.
