I am a mental health and substance abuse licensed counselor in Alabama with almost 20 years of experience. I have worked with clients with a range of concerns including trauma, substance abuse/dependence, mental health issues, depression, anxiety, family relational problems, and ADHD.

My therapy style is being open-minded allowing the client to share and express his or her most interpersonal issues that have inhibited daily living with the expected outcome of working toward resolution of the issues. I subscribe to an integrated method of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to include Mindfulness-based therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also trained in trauma-informed care and motivational interviewing/incentives.

I look forward to helping clients both identify and remove the constraints that have formed in their lives and walk with them on a journey of relief and healing.
