Thank you for reaching out, and sharing your struggles with me. I know it wasn't easy.
It's important you feel comfortable with me as your therapist so I want to tell you a little bit about myself to see if we may be a good fit to work together.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, living in Colorado. I have always loved the field of psychology and how people make changes in their lives. Along with having a Masters level degree in counseling, I am also a certified life coach. For many of my clients, this is the right balance of insight and healing (therapy) with action toward change (coaching).
I work with adults of all ages struggling with issues of everyday life. This often appears as relationship issues in your personal life or at work, strain on your mental well-being in the form of stress, anxiety, depression, anger, times of change, loss, and transition in your life, and a yearning for things to feel better.
My role as your therapist is to guide you on your journey, to provide support, understanding, and insights to help you move through the obstacles holding you back. Often times, we learn what may be stopping us from living our best life are thoughts and patterns of behavior not aligned with what we truly want in life.
