I am a full-time therapist in private practice and a professor in the Graduate School of Counseling Psychology at Naropa University in Boulder, CO. I work with individual clients coming with a vast array of mild to complex issues. I develop friendly and close connections with my clients. I really enjoy what I do; it is fulfilling to see my clients have powerful insights about themselves, their relationships, and their life situations. What is your approach to therapy? I provide a supportive environment where clients can relax and feel comfortable enough to explore the necessary emotional and mental terrain for change. I use a wide variety of therapeutic modalities to meet my clients where they are and that provide therapeutic interventions appropriate for specific mental health issues. Some clients do well with supportive therapy while others thrive on being challenged. I am open to feedback and following the requests and desires of my clients. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? I am currently accepting individual clients. Most of my clients meet virtually. I have limited spaces for in-person sessions in Boulder, CO. I work weekly, biweekly, and monthly with clients. Trauma & PTSD, mood disorders, relationship issues, career and transitions, childhood issues, anxiety and depression, grief/loss, life stressors, substance abuse, LGBTQ+, spiritual issues, personal growth, and more...
