I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Nevada with 7+ years experience in the field of mental health and counseling working with children, teens, adults, couples, families and groups from diverse backgrounds. Some of the presenting issues I have experience with include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, anger management, sexual/ physical/ emotional abuse, domestic violence, ADHD, academic and social difficulties, work stress, homelessness, self-esteem, LGBTQ+, substance abuse, suicide, self-harm, divorce, blended families, relationship and family conflict. I believe earning the trust of my clients is the most important part in helping them to heal. I take a creative approach to counseling and try to incorporate the interests, dreams, values and strengths of my clients in therapy. I have experience using CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, IFS, Gottman, solution focused, Gestalt, structural family therapy and experiential therapy techniques and activities, but also trust in the simplicity of just listening and asking questions to help clients understand themselves better.
