Hi! I'm Rosie. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with particular experience in trauma-related issues, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ issues, and substance use. Throughout my social work career I have passionately advocated for racial, social and economic justice through the empowerment of individuals and groups including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, people with HIV, people experiencing homelessness, people with mental illness, veterans, children and youth, and more. My social work background has developed me into a more authentic psychotherapist who views treatment through a holistic lens encompassing many aspects of an individual's life.


I believe that people begin to heal the moment they feel heard. While I do incorporate interventions like CBT, trauma processing, mindfulness, and distress tolerance, my first and foremost focus is to be unconditionally on your team and on your side. Feedback I have received from clients is that I am a natural listener, and am genuine and warm in how I relate to people. When I am not obsessing over the personality psychology phenomenon known as the enneagram, I enjoy swimming in the many natural water sources of Texas, reading, cooking, yoga, and catching up with friends.
