Life is hard and filled with many twists and turns. And to make matters even more complicated, life doesn’t provide us with an instruction manual. Navigating the twists and turns of life can be difficult. That’s where therapy comes in. In my over 30 years of counseling experience, those who’ve benefitted most from therapy have been those willing to be intentional about practicing treatment recommendations outside of treatment. I believe that everyone wants to thrive in life, but there are times when we all need help in doing this. My approach is encouraging and inspirational, and even when things don’t work out as fast as you would like, my goal is to encourage you to give yourself a lot of compassion. As a Christian and someone who is devoted to my faith, I believe in the power of God to help us gain insight and understanding and bring about change in our lives.
