My name is Riddhi Sevak-Patel and I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist. Welcome to my page, I hope that this allows you to get to know me a little better!

I received my MSW back in 2010 from the University of Alabama after completing the advanced standing program specializing in Children, Adolescents and their families and graduating with honors. I have worked in all aspects of healthcare ranging from acute inpatient ICU care to out-patient rehabilitation working with children and adults alike.

Outside of Find A Therapist, I have my own private practice where I work with both teenagers and adults who struggle with depression, suicidal thoughts, grief, trauma and substance abuse, to name a few. As a working mother of three, I understand the struggles faced with the "mommy burden" and can empathize towards those dealing with the anxiety that comes from "doing it all." You are not alone.

My approach to therapy is mostly a humanistic approach mixed with CBT and DBT. People are a lot more resilient than they sometimes realize and I believe that we all have the ability to "find ourselves" even in the most severe circumstances. My goal is to help you realize your strengths and help you process your feeling so that you can move onto becoming a better you.
