About

I am a licensed professional counselor, licensed in Michigan with over12 years of experience working as a mental health counselor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, post-traumatic stress, and reintegration from military life to civilian life. I also have helped many people who have experienced various addictions and emotional abuse.

My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, compassion, and prefer to see our mental health issues as a challenge we must embrace and find a way to be able to effectively function in our life , instead of placing a confining and stigmatized label on us. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and dialectical behavior therapy. Often I will use an eclectic approach tailoring our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
