Dr. Shawn has studied the mother-daughter relationship, specializing in unearthing generational trauma. I have almost 17 years serving families and communities starting in Michigan and now in Georgia. My signature approach is to create as space like you are sitting with a friend, before the conversation gets deep as my therapeutic style is an eclectic mix of CBT, EMDR, affect management and mindfulness techniques. I create a genuine sacred time for us to explore the possibility of something new and provide healthy habits for those who want something better. Together, we will identify patterns as therapy provides an opportunity for restoration and emotional healing for this thing called “life”.
