I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia working with a wide variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, grief, etc. I do take an active role in the counseling process as I work collectively with the client to navigate the presented concerns and create tangible goals to make life more manageable. As we continue to navigate this thing called life, we will always experience life’s challenges however, the goal is to perceive these as lessons to prevent any further detriment. With that being said, I believe we are our best selves when we are in a space that allows us to be true and authentic. I will provide a space free of judgement that will allow for honest and authentic self-evaluation and exploration. This process will facilitate better understanding of yourself as well as what you would like to start creating in your life. The therapeutic process is collaborative, so I use a variety of therapeutic orientations based on what works best for you. We will work together to identify things in which you would like to work on and or change. We will formulate a treatment plan that is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time based to help you reach those desired goals. This will require you to be an active participant in the therapeutic process as I believe healing comes from within however, sometimes we just need help accessing it.
