I am a NY licensed clinical therapist with extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced loss, adjusting to major life transitions, and who have experienced severe mental health issues including trauma, depression and anxiety. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and older adults. I bring energy and enthusiasm along with my expertise. I am committed to the emotional and psychological health and wellbeing of all of my clients.
Each person's experiences and struggles are unique, and treatment is tailored to the individual. Treatment runs from psychoanalytic to CBT and DBT based on client needs. Regardless of treatment modality, I take a team and strengths-based approach to this work. I believe it is important to consider not just the individual but the "bigger picture." I assess my clients, starting where they and how they function in their environment, which can be difficult in the world today. We look at the past, but we don't live there.
Initial session will involve an assessment and evaluation of what brings you into therapy at this point in your life. After determining if we will make a strong team, outline for future work together, including choosing goals to help clients live meaningful, balanced lives. You can live a happier, healthier, more satisfying life and it is my job to help you see your full potential.
