Hi! My name is Rebecca and I come to you as a SC licensed professional counselor having 20 + years experience. I have worked with a wide variety of disorders, some severe, as well as individuals who just need support through a difficult season of life.
As you are seeking counseling, are you interested in functioning better with anxiety, depression, mood shifts, hurt, anger, and stress in your life? Do you have unresolved childhood or past adult experiences that affect you still today? Have you tried talking to counselors in the past without much improvement? Have you found talk therapy produced few results?? I take the approach of dealing with root ; not just the fruit to address issues.
Do not be afraid nor discouraged; there is hope! Whether you experienced such things as a chaotic childhood, invalidating, abusive, toxic, manipulative relationships, and/or PTSD, there are ways to obtain closure. I find helping others with these challenges to be my passion!
With research-proven treatment modalities we can process to develop skills and insight that will aid you in moving forward to healthier relationships and day to day life contentment. I commend you for the courage and vulnerability to seek counseling as this is not easy.
