I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina with over twelve years of experience working in varied medical and mental health settings with diverse populations. I have worked with people challenged by life stressors, relationships, chronic illness, cancer, depression, anxiety, grief & loss, etc.

My approach is client centered, strengths based and value oriented. I strive to make the therapeutic experience comfortable, engaging, tailored and most importantly: helpful. My desire is to aid people in their continued growth even in the midst of some of life's most challenging moments.

The quote "Grow through what you go through" sort of defines my approach to life and therapeutic practice which is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Here and Now approach, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and other modalities.
