Hi there!

I am a licensed counselor in Missouri and Kansas with over 6 years of experience working with a variety of clients and settings addressing concerns such as depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, stress, and life transitions. I currently work mostly with adults, age 18 and over. Since 2015 I have worked with military and first responder populations and their families through Horses & Heroes, Inc. I am a firefighters wife and have lots of friends and family in the military, fire service, and law enforcement so I enjoy supporting those populations and their families. I am also a suicide prevention trainer and offer training to my local community. I have 3 years of spiritual direction training, and several more years of direct experience, so I am also equipped to work with individuals who want spirituality to be a part of their counseling. I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated and ready to get to work learning about themselves, overcoming the things that hold them back from fully living, and reaching their goals.

My style is authentic, honest, and sincere. I am very comfortable working with diverse backgrounds and beliefs, and by nature am nonjudgmental and accepting. People often describe me as real, grounded, and easy to connect with. I am kind, compassionate, and gentle in my honesty and challenges when they are necessary. I take my role seriously, and yours. We will work side by side to help you reach your goals, and I intend for you to walk away from session one with more hope and insight. My goal is to help you build the confidence and skills you need to achieve your goals.
