I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Cognitive Behavioral Life Coach with at least 5 years of professional work experience. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a Concentration in Family and Child Services from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Social Work from Capella University. I hold a Human Services-Board Certified Practitioner (HS-BCP) credential from the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE) and I am a certified specialist in anger management and grief/loss. I have experience working with children and their parents or guardians in inpatient and outpatient treatment settings, providing individual, group, and/or family counseling, clinical-community linkage, and crisis intervention.

Throughout the therapeutic relationship, I foster a non-authoritative approach and I utilize various modalities, including but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy. I do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. You are a unique individual with a distinct set of life experiences that has brought you to where you are today. I am here to be a non-judgmental sounding board while providing an open and safe environment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.
