As a mental health counselor and psychotherapist I try my best to be the supportive teammate I would want - someone who is genuine, direct, and honest. I seek to be supportive and compassionate, yet also straightforward and frank, as needed, to ensure you make good progress and don't stay stuck. I am here to gently push you out of your comfort zone and toward your goals. I strive to be positive and encouraging, yet also practical and solution focused. My clients say I bring warmth, passion, and a sense of humor to our sessions. I believe progress requires some learning, as well as some unlearning. I am here to be your partner in healing.

I'm strongly committed to growth, my own in addition to yours. I never ask you to do anything I am not willing to do myself. Change is hard, I know this firsthand. But the end result is well worth it.

My goal is to help you develop new skills and insights which will help you create a life you love.

When working with me, you're not one of 60 to 70 other clients (the amount of people some counselors see). I keep my caseload purposely very small to help me be better focused on your needs. This helps me bring the best amount of energy to your appointments.
