Welcome. I believe that crises in our lives give us the opportunity to grow and change. Transitions and/or loss, such as death, divorce, job changes, and relationship challenges provoke strong feelings that can threaten to overwhelm us. Choosing to seek help at these difficult times is a sign of strength. Each of us will face difficult or emotional and interpersonal challenges at one time or another in our life. It helps to have support and guidance to learn new coping skills and strategies to improve daily functioning.

I have over 30 years of experience providing individual and couples counseling. I use a variety of interventions such as psychodynamic, cognitive, and behavioral, but at the heart of effective counseling is a relationship of trust, warmth, and compassion. I am also a direct and interactive therapist while also providing a safe place for clients to learn and grow.
