About

I am a licensed professional counselor in the States of Louisiana and Michigan with 12 years of experience, and skilled in cross-cultural counseling. I have worked with a wide range of ages and populations in various agencies, and in private practice. My work experience includes addressing anxiety, depression, trauma and post traumatic stress, grief and loss, parenting and parent-child communication, relationship issues, and life transitions. My counseling style is interactive and rooted in hope. I utilize an integrative approach to counseling that focuses on honoring and infusing hope into the client's life. I believe that an awakened sense of purpose empowers the client to confront issues and to find the strength to make the desired changes. I become a companion on the client's journey, and while the client does the work of change, I am on the client's side.
