Something you should know about me is that I genuinely care that you get the best help possible [even if it is not with me]. Finding counseling and therapy solutions for the issues you are facing can be difficult. I am here to support you however you need. Let me share a bit about myself and you can decide if we are a good fit for each other.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia with over 10 years of experience working in a variety of settings. I am currently working as a mental health counselor at the International House of Prayer. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress-related issues, relationship issues, difficulty with life transitions, and trauma. I have been helping and supporting people long before I acquired my degree in mental health counseling from Mercer University. You could almost say that I was born to support those in need. Both my personality and the extensive preparation of my graduate program have made me into an even more compassionate, dedicated, and equipped counselor.

My counseling approach is warm, empathetic, direct, collaborative, and supportive. You will have the space to process and share so that we can uncover solutions together. You can feel safe to talk about anything. With a safe, judgment-free, therapeutic space, you will find yourself on the road to personal growth, self-development, empowerment and a healthier, more fulfilled you. I do not believe in the one size fits all when it comes to therapy so I use a combination of therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanist therapy, emotion focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Every person and circumstance is unique and should be addressed in the same manner.

What does it look like to walk out the journey towards healing? It requires determination, dedication, passion, and empathy. You will find all those in me as your counselor and you will find those things within yourself as we work together. You are taking the right step towards a more whole and fulfilling life.
