About

Hi! If you are tired of feeling lost, alone, or over-whelmed, you have found the right counselor! My name is Norie Rogers and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. I have seven years of experience in the mental health field. I have served populations ranging from children/adolescents in foster care to adults in higher education. I have worked with a diverse clientele. Specialties include trauma/abuse, depression and anxiety, self-esteem, relational conflict, and personal/spirituality identity.

I 100% believe that people know themselves best and that you are the professional of your own life. Peace of mind is frequently caused by “carrying the weight of the world.” As human beings functioning in a fast-paced culture, we often neglect to take time for ourselves. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, accepting, and hopeful atmosphere where YOU can breathe and re-discover your own being.

I welcome you to share whatever YOU decide. I will extend an open hand to aid in unpacking life’s burdens and lightening the load over time. I invite you to find pieces of joy you may have forgotten or never knew were within you. I sincerely desire to help people remember how to enjoy life again!

My therapeutic approach is client-centered and eclectic in nature. I am authentic, empathic, and non-judgmental. Rather than forcing change, I encourage you to set the pace. I facilitate growth and healing while encouraging people to find helpful ways of being.

Together, we can unpack burdens from the past and explore ways to let go of what is no longer serving you. Your answers to happiness are waiting to be found! If you are ready to begin the process of healing, we can journey down the path of change. Remember, you deserve a life worth living!
