About

I am a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist. I completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Youth Ministry at Manhattan Christian College. After my bachelor's degree I worked for a community mental health center as a therapeutic case manager. After working for Pawnee for several years, Nathan moved to California to earn his Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. All told I have worked in mental health care for over 16 years.

After completing my Master’s, I worked with at-risk youth in Southern California before moving back to Kansas. In Kansas I have worked for Flint Hills Job Corps., providing mental health support to students and staff. I have also been in private practice, both with Cornerstone Family Counseling, and in my own private practice. Currently, I work for a mental health clinic.

I use a collaborative and empowering approach to therapy that is based in CBT and Solution-focused techniques. I have experience treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems. I also have extensive experience helping clients navigate the integration of their faith as a facet of treatment. I enjoy, and looks forward to, seeing my clients embrace change and become more confident and capable of managing the barriers that hinder their fullest life.
