Hi, My name is Nancy Naughton, and I have been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) for almost two decades and practicing under a PsyD (Clinical Psychologist) to earn my LPC prior to that. I work with people, mainly 12-60s, for a variety of issues. An example- stress. You may be facing issues that are making life more stressful. Stress is a vicious cycle as we need some stress to motivate us. However, too much stress can cause depression, anxiety, feeling your life is out of control, increase symptoms of bipolar and other mood disorders just to name a few. My style-We are a team and work together to find the best therapeutic skills that work for you. Many times we may integrate several skills such as CBT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. Again, it depends on your goals and what YOU think works best for you! If my style appeals to you, I look forward to working with you soon. You are not alone.
