I offer online counseling to help you address issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, low esteem and interpersonal challenges. I approach counseling as an opportunity to understand your story and help you develop a path to healing. It's human nature to want healthy relationships, meaningful work, and activities you enjoy, in order to have a good quality of life. If you're experiencing ineffective communication skills, career dissatisfaction, parenting challenges, family/relationship stress or feelings overwhelm, I would be glad to help you improve upon these problems. I utilize the following models of treatment depending on the needs of the each individual: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Mindfulness Interventions. I studied psychology at the University of Georgia, obtaining a B.A. in psychology in 1998. Later in my career, I obtained a Master of Social Work from Valdosta State University in 2011 and became fully licensed in 2015. I absolutely understand that life throws some curve balls. My desire to better understand human behavior and how to adjust to stress, led to a career in the helping field, spanning twenty years.
