About

I have a particular fondness for integrating experiential methods and expressive arts with more traditional modalities. In my twenty years as a therapist, I've worked with children and adolescents, adults, and families in private practice, community mental health, school counseling, and the foster care system. More recently, I've engaged in clinical supervisory work, presenting/consulting, and teaching. Currently, I serve as part-time faculty in Psychology at Middle Georgia State University. (I love my students!) I am a staunch advocate for marginalized individuals, and I have extensive experience in treating people who identify under the wide umbrella of LGBTQ+. For years, I worked with the d/Deaf population in my area, teaching in ASL and gaining insight into their culture and community. I love music, art, reading, writing, traveling, animals, and the outdoors. I am a wife and a mom, with one human kid and one (rescue) fur kid, Boo Radley.
