About

I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. I have been in the mental health field for 10 years. I have a bachelors degree in psychology and a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling. I have experience working with families, children/adolescents, and adult patients. I worked with adults struggling with parenting issues, depression, life transitions, anxiety, anger management, and identifying ways to manage stress. I also have experience in helping clients worked through past trauma. I have worked in various settings from inpatient to private practice.

I provide a warm, empathic, non judgmental approach to build rapport with my clients along their counseling journey in the beginning. I utilize various techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, rationale emotive behavioral therapy as well as solution focused. I will tailor my approach to whatever a client brings to the session to ensure the clients needs are met.

The thought of counseling can be a daunting feeling for some. It take courage to be able to open up regarding adversities in one’s life. If you are ready to taking this journey to live a better life and to develop some new skills in life I am happy to assist.
