I enjoy working with clients who want to be in therapy voluntarily. Even if they are guarded, not wanting to change, and struggling with the commitment of therapy, as long as they want to be there, I enjoy working with them. Their issues, needs, and goals can be from various mental health concerns, but as long as they fit into my scope of practice, I aim to be the guide they need to achieve their goals. I am there to provide them with a safe and non-judgmental space for them to truly be themselves and allow them the opportunity to develop their strengths and better understand themselves. I utilize a person-centered and holistic approach with the integration of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and art therapy. I allow space for the client to decide what is important to them. Developing coping skills is crucial to experiencing relief from mental health concerns while also being able to identify their strengths further. Change can be difficult, but you do not have to go through it alone. I am here as a guide to encourage you to take appropriate steps toward change and provide you with reassurance throughout the process. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental environment as these are important for the therapeutic relationship and achievement towards your future growth.
