Hello & welcome! Let me begin by telling you something that each of us need to hear: you are courageous & strong. Regardless of what has happen in your life, the good and not so ideal, something has happened that brought you here. Something within you has decided to listen to your inner self and take a chance on creating changes to have a more meaningful life. That is inspiring and I applaud you in doing so.

I have a master's degree in social work from University of Missouri - Kansas City (2016), and am Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Missouri. I have know I wanted to work in the field of therapy since I was in middle school. I discovered a passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma when I started interning at a local rape crisis center. Still to this day, I am amazed by the resiliency that each & every single person has within them. I have been fortunate to work with sexual assault survivors, children in the foster care system, people getting help at a psychiatric hospital, and helping a variety of people in an outpatient mental health/substance therapy. I also have experience working with first responders and military.

I want to learn about you, who you authentically are & your inner strengths that have helped get through to today in life. My therapeutic style is one that is based on what can help you continue moving forward and what your needs are. I am trained in EMDR therapy and I also utilize techniques from ACT, CBT, & DBT.
