Hello! Welcome to my page. I am a LCSW licensed in the state of Georgia. I have been working in the helping field for 15+ years and providing therapeutic services for the past 12 years. The past 12 years have provided me with the opportunity to work in many different settings working with adults, families, and teens (14-19). My experience comes from working in private practice, crisis stabilization, PHP/IOP settings, community health, and the juvenile justice system. I have worked in both mental health and substance abuse/addiction arenas. When working with clients I enjoy providing a positive/nonjudgmental atmosphere for clients to explore changes they would like to make. I believe in using a strengths based approach and my goal is to assist and empower clients to learn new ways to cope, achieve goals, and improve daily functioning. The therapeutic modalities I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solutions Focused Therapy. I am also a certified CBI-SA facilitator and trained in Seeking Safety. I have years of experience assisting clients with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, family conflict, transition from high school to college, court mandated services, and substance abuse/addiction.
