You did it! You have conquered the hardest part, taking that first step to seeking counseling! As your therapist, I vow to hold space for you as I walk with you through your discomfort, uncover what is limiting you, guide you to discovering your inner strengths, and helping you find new skills to achieve change. This sounds wonderful, but this can be a challenging path to healing and everyone’s journey is different so my approach will be unique to your needs, learning style, and comfort level.  Life does not come with a map! As we work together, I see myself as sort of a GPS system guiding you on your path to self-exploration. I may challenge your outlook, lead you into uncomfortable territory, teach you new tools and coping strategies, but always at your pace and respecting that you are in the driver’s seat. Destination… growth and transformation!
