Greetings!
I'm a licensed mental health counselor in Washington State. I am a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. Most of my experience has been working with those in both addictions and co-occurring mental health treatments. I am familiar with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and personality diagnoses/concerns. My clients are often struggling with relationship concerns, confidence and identity, as well as anxiety and interpersonal stressors.
At my heart, I am a client centered therapist. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I am not here to provide advice but to listen while you discover the path that's right for you. I may offer an unbiased response or another perspective, which may help you develop further insight into your situation.
Besides a client centered approach, I utilize an eclectic method, employing the intervention or technique I believe most fits the client. The therapeutic approaches I utilize the most are Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution Focused Therapy. I am also informed in Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am always looking for new ways to support my clients and strengthen my therapeutic approach.
