Hello! My name is Terri Allen. I'm a licensed mental health therapist in Washington State. I enjoy working with a variety of clients and desire to be an affirming ally to all people.

I've practiced therapy for 18 years after receiving a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Central Washington University. I worked with children with special needs for the first 10 years of my career and have been working with a variety of mental health concerns over the past 8 years in private practice. My therapy approach is two fold - helping solve current problems and supporting people to address and heal from past injuries.

Subsequent to my master’s degree, I've earned certifications in Choice Theory Psychology, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Collaborative & Proactive Solutions, Certified First Responder Counselor Training, and Eye Movement Desensitization and
Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am a National Certified Counselor and adheres to the Code of Ethics set out by the National Board of Certified Counselors. I also integrate mindfulness practices into therapy.
