My name is Megan Shultz, I am a licensed professional counselor in Missouri. I have been practicing since 2014 working with adults, teens, and children on a variety of issues including: anxiety & stress, trauma, depression, attention disorders, parenting issues, self-harm, and grief.

My style is collaborative and holistic with an emphasis on a warm and trusting client-counselor relationship. I get to know my client's strengths, not just their problems, and this helps me understand what does (and does not) work for each person. My multimodal approach utilizes tools and techniques from Positive Psychology, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, as well as a Humanistic & Client-centered therapies.

While I believe that live interaction is important, I am also very excited to utilize the additional therapeutic tools Find A Therapist has to offer. Between live sessions I encourage my clients to send messages, complete journal entries & worksheets, and I provide feedback at least once every day Sunday-Thursday.
