My name is Megan Dreyer! I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor. I have my Bachelors degree in Psychology and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. Most of my experience is working with clients in a community mental health setting. I work with people of all backgrounds and walks of life. I feel that everyone knows something that I don't, and I find that this line of work helps me to learn more about the world we all live in. I meet all clients where they are, so my modalities of treatment tend to change from person to person. My typical modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally-Focused therapy, Art therapy, Mindfulness-Based CBT, Positive Therapy, Solution-Focused (Brief) Therapy, and Person-Centered therapy. I also tend to take a holistic approach to therapy, realizing that you will feel your best when you are healthy mentally, emotionally, and physically. You should be proud of yourself for being brave enough to take this first step in improving your overall well-being! I am proud of you already!
