I am committed to helping those who want real help and are willing to work toward change. I have extensive training and professional experience helping others, but some of the greatest value I bring is that I am a person who has struggled myself and can empathize well. I do not have a magic solution to every problem but will always give you respect as valuable human being, put in the effort to build a strong therapeutic relationship with each person I work with, and will support you to identify and achieve your goals.

I have dedicated the last 15 years of my life to helping others, the past 4 years as a licensed counselor. The first 9 years I worked with individuals with disabilities and their families. I spent five years working largely with children, families, trauma, and attachment issues. For the past year I've worked as a crisis therapist dealing with diverse issues and populations. Uncomfortable issues do not make me uncomfortable. I look forward to working with anyone who is willing to make a sincere effort toward positive change.
