I am a Licensed Mental Health therapist with a counseling style that is warm, empathetic, integrative, eclectic, pragmatic, and person-centered. I believe that a therapeutic relationship should be a collaborative one in which you and I work together to discover creative strategies, solutions, and, at times, even humorous insights to help you practice new ways to thrive. My goal is to overcome stigmatic labels and empower the client on a path to wellness. I listen without judgment with focus on your strengths and build on those strengths. It takes courage to seek help; however, your courage has already been evident within yourself in challenging what society thinks is the norm. I have empathic abilities to help you overcome any challenges through mindfulness and self-discovery. If you are part of the LGBTQ community or in self-exploration, I have experience in all facets and I am motivated to attenuate any conflict in your life. Therefore, many reasons can bring a person to counseling. I would like to facilitate your growth by bringing out your true self so that you can take the steering wheel and direct it toward a more positive and fulfilling life.
