Hi there, I'm Maria! I am so happy you are here! My name is Maria Najera and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I am licensed in California with over 7 years of professional work experience. My focus areas of practice include helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, and coping with grief and loss. I work primarily with individuals struggling with addiction as well as depression, anxiety, anger, bipolar, and trauma using my Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical Behavior (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic, Strength-Based, and Trauma Focused. My communication style I provide a safe, trusting, and nurturing space for clients to process their thoughts and feelings, and work collaboratively with clients to identify effective coping skills so they can achieve productive, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.
