About

If you are looking for someone to help you make a change in your life, I’d like to congratulate you for taking the first step! Reaching out to someone else is often difficult, but having someone to listen, to help you clarify your thoughts, and hold you accountable can be the key to making satisfying changes in your life. I’m offering to be that person for you. I have worked with people making positive changes in their lives for twenty years. I have a master’s degree in counseling as well as lots of experience facing challenges in life. Addiction, codependence, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, loss, relationship problems, and adjusting to change are some of the issues we can work on together. My goal in therapy is to provide a warm and accepting place for you to explore who you are and what you want to achieve. I believe you already have the answers, and my job is to help you find them. Therapy can be a catalyst for discovering your strengths and building on them to create a fulfilling life. I primarily use a cognitive-behavioral approach in conjunction with acceptance and commitment therapy, but I’m flexible, depending on your needs. I’m experienced in motivational interviewing, teaching coping skills, and trauma processing. I have worked extensively with people who have co-occurring addiction and mental health challenges. I look forward to working with you.
