Hello! You have taken a big step today in reaching out for help, and I truly honor that decision. My name is Lisa Redfearn, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida with a varied counseling background over the past 20 years. I have assisted adults, children and families in community hospitals, schools, agencies i.e., Hospice and Can Do MS and in my private practice.
In my former career as an educator, I also gained experience working with both children and adults in regular and special education for over 18 years. While I loved teaching, it ultimately led me to my career in clinical counseling, which has been my passion for the past two decades.
As a clinician, it is my intention to provide caring, compassionate and ethical counseling to help you navigate through and resolve the current challenges in your life. I believe that you have the capacity to achieve your goals, and I will provide the nonjudgmental support and practical tools to help you heal. You deserve it! I utilize a variety of therapies including solution focused therapy, active listening, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, Grief Recovery, Conscious Discipline and holistic modalities.

Please note that what you see in my calendar may not reflect my only availability, so please check that out with me first through messaging. I check messages twice daily during the hours of 8 AM-5 PM on Monday-Friday, so you can always leave a message for me at any time that is convenient for you. I also offer and encourage live sessions, including video, phone or chat. I do not have availability during the evenings, weekends or on holidays.
