Hi, friends! I am a well-trained licensed therapist, and that is very important. Also noteworthy is that I am here to listen and ask you the right questions. There is no magic wand, but having someone who cares about how you’re doing, who therapeutically listens, and who is trained to ask questions skillfully is invaluable. I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist in North Carolina. I graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, SC, in 1995 with a Master’s degree in Counseling. I am a trained therapist here to partner with you and help you move through whatever difficulties you are having at the moment. Sometimes, it’s hard to remember that our feelings are temporary. It is hard to find peace amid a storm. I am here to be fully present with you, actively listen, and help you find the solution(s) that move you forward; instead of staying stuck. Sometimes we need a gentle nudge. Sometimes, we need someone to be on our side. This is a judgment-free zone. There is a quote that I have heard that says, “tell me the worst thing you’ve ever done, and let me love you anyway.” I show love and compassion and bring knowledge and suggestions to the table as I join you toward getting you to a better, happier place.
