Hello and Welcome! My name is Lindsay and I have been providing mental health, behavioral health, and addictions counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults for over 8 years, in a variety of treatment settings (private practice, non-profit, hospital-based inpatient, clinic outpatient, and residential). I have experience working with clients who present with a wide range of concerns including acute needs (anxiety, depression, change of life) and ones that might require more on-going care (addictions, mood disorders, trauma, and grief).

I view counseling as a shared journey and my style is interactive and, I like to believe, multi-faceted. I believe that the solutions lie within and sometimes, all you need is a different perspective to uncover it. With that being said, the counseling process can sometimes feel like a kid pushing all the buttons on the elevator - I am going to need your guidance on which buttons are ok to push and which ones to wait a bit on.

** COVID 19 disclaimer: Please note that I am licensed / credentialed only in NY state. With the current situation, if you are not residing and physically within the state at the time of our appointments, I am not able to provide services for you.
** Scheduling concerns: In an effort towards transparency, I'd like you to be aware that Find A Therapist is not my primary occupation. As such, my availability on this platform can feel very restrictive. This is unlikely to change.
