I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Alaska and Illinois and also a nationally registered board certified art therapist (ATR-BC). I have up to five years of experience in behavioral health with specific focus in hospice and grief counseling, neurological disorders (dementia, stroke, and traumatic brain injury), anxiety, depression, and other mood and emotional related challenges. I have worked in after school art programs for at risk youth and inpatient hospital programs for many age groups, including children, preteens, adolescents and geriatrics. I hope to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment for you to share your thoughts, feelings, and personal experiences. I incorporate a person-centered and narrative approach to my work as a therapist and I can also include active art-making, journaling, the creative process, and imagination.
