About

I am a professional counselor licensed in Fairbanks Alaska with over 6 years of experience working as a behavioral and mental health counselor. I served 10 years of Active Duty Army and am well rounded with military life. I am also a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA) and truly enjoy working within the Deaf community. I have worked in a range of clinical settings such as inpatient/outpatient, non-profit organizations, child and family protective services, and prison. I've counseled clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, anger management, spiritual issues, physical/emotional abuse, trauma, grief, etc.

My counseling style is empathetic, always seeking to understand. I believe that good mental health is wholistic (physical, spiritual, and mental). My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, rational-emotive counseling and forgiveness therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
