Hi, my name is Lesley Riley, and I am a licensed professional counselor(LPC) in Georgia with 12 years of post-licensure experience. I have worked with adults, adolescents, families, and couples in community-based, school, government, and private practice settings. Some of my clinical areas of focus include anxiety, depression, grief, and loss, and relationship issues. I completed a doctoral degree in counselor education and a master's in secondary school guidance from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Yale University. The foundation of my approach is person-centered in that I aim to respond with empathy and convey confidence in my client's ability to make decisions. Also, I integrate holistic wellness, cognitive-behavioral, and reality therapy interventions. I strive to create a safe, trusting, and collaborative environment that fosters clients' positive growth.
